Annabelle is a 4-year-old with a diagnosis of propionic acidemia and mixed receptive-expressive language disorder who uses a speech-generating device to communicate. Annabelle receives speech therapy services in both an outpatient clinic and therapeutic horse riding center. You are the speech-language pathology practitioner assigned to provide Annabelle’s intervention at the therapeutic riding center in conjunction with her therapeutic riding instructor.
