Alex- Intervention (SLP)
Alex is an 8-year-old with a speech sound disorder. You are the speech-language pathology practitioner assigned to work with Alex. This simulation is presented in partnership with Alexandria Technical and Community College.

Amy is a 36-year-old with a two-year history of dysphonia. She has come to the outpatient voice clinic for a second opinion. You are the speech-language pathologist assigned to complete her evaluation.

Paul- Assessment (SLP)
Paul is a 63-year-old who incurred an ischemic stroke two years ago and has returned to the outpatient clinic for an updated evaluation. He is interested in pursuing additional therapy for working on writing skills for emailing friends and family as well as continuing to improve his verbal expression and speech to be able to talk better on the phone. You are the speech-language pathologist assigned to complete his evaluation.

Anna is a 4-year-old with single sound errors. You are a speech-language pathology practitioner and assigned to provide intervention and work with Anna today.

Latreece- Assessment (SLP)
Latreece is a student in the second grade. She was previously retained in first grade, so she is older than the other children, yet seems way behind them in achievement. She is in the Title I Reading Program; however, she continues to struggle. This is her first formal evaluation. You are the school-based speech-language pathologist assigned to complete her evaluation.

Doug- Assessment (SLP)
Doug will be a freshman in high school this year. This summer, Doug suffered a severe traumatic brain injury when he was struck in the head by a baseball. Prior to his injury, Doug was reported to excel in all academic areas but now demonstrates significant cognitive, physical, and communication deficits. You are the school-based speech-language pathologist assigned to complete his evaluation.
