Simucase launches new training program on soft skills for workplace success
Posted April 23, 2025
Simucase has launched a new professional skills training program designed to strengthen workplace success through the development of soft skills.
The program, which is called Professional Skills, uses interactive videos and simulations to build essential social and human skills—attributes that, according to a study published in World Journal of Advanced Research and Reviews, may account for up to 85% of job success.
Based on 32 professional skills aligned with the National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE) Career Competencies (2024), the program includes 10 levels of training, as well as pre- and post-assessments. Eight levels feature customizable content with targeted skills training through interactive videos.
Each interactive video features a narrator and a subject matter expert who introduce the topic and teach the skills. Video-based scenarios reinforce the concepts, and participants must correctly answer yes/no and multiple-choice questions throughout in order to progress. Fast-forwarding is disabled during the initial viewing to ensure full engagement.
Each level concludes with a simulation that allows participants to apply what they’ve learned and earn a badge. Upon completion of all levels and the post-assessment, participants receive a certificate and a digital badge to share on social media.
“Simucase’s professional skills training program is ideal for onboarding, intern and new hire training, and ongoing professional development,” said Maura Lavelle, director of content innovation. “Its customizable design makes it flexible for a variety of workplace training needs.”
