Posted October 2, 2024
Students pursuing allied health professions can gain insight into their desired field through the Simucase Professional Prep Program.
Leading organizations in allied health fields sponsor these free webinars for soon-to-be professionals, which highlight a variety of topic areas, including:
Kickstarting Your Career
Presenting Yourself as a Clinical Professional
Preparing for the Demands of Clinical Fellowship Experiences
Staying Centered in the Frenzy of your First Year
Understanding Employment Structures
Stepping into the World of Travel Therapy
“We want to offer students a behind-the-scenes look at these fields and get their questions answered by practicing professionals,” said Clint Johnson, vice president of Simucase education. “Both students and faculty find the Professional Prep Program valuable—students because of the helpful and timely information and faculty because they appreciate the opportunity to support their students as they embark on their first entry into their professional careers.”
One sponsor of Simucase’s Professional Prep Program is The Stepping Stones Group (SSG), which places healthcare professionals in school district jobs across the country.
“By partnering with Simucase, we’re excited to provide students with firsthand insights into the rewarding world of school-based therapy,” said SSG’s Sarah Jordan, Clinical Manager, MA, CCC-SLP. “Our webinars are designed to equip future professionals with the knowledge and connections they need to succeed in their careers and empower them as they make their transition from student to independent clinician.”
Another sponsor is Core Medical Group, a staffing service for nurses, allied health professionals, and physicians. Their sponsored webinar provides an overview on travel therapy for OTPs, PTs, and SLPs.
Through program sponsorship, these companies have reached thousands of Simucase students with their educational offerings.
