Simucase celebrates six Certified Healthcare Simulation Educators

Six Simucase team members have earned Certified Healthcare Simulation Educator (CHSE) certification, which is granted by the Society for Simulation in Healthcare (SSH). 

This international certification is awarded to healthcare simulation educators who demonstrate advanced professional and educational knowledge, skills, and abilities in healthcare simulation.

The certification covers simulation design, function, modality, and teaching practices and is achieved by passing a rigorous examination administered by the SSH.

“The CHSE certification formally distinguishes those who have proven themselves as highly skilled educators and leaders who impact and influence the field of healthcare simulation,” said CEO Stacy Williams, PhD. “This credential further sets Simucase apart and provides esteemed recognition of the excellence we offer in simulation education.”  

The CHSE certification must be renewed every three years by submitting evidence of ongoing professional development.
