Duane is an 8-year-old who is referred for an evaluation. You are assigned to complete the Clinical Evaluation of Language Fundamentals Screening Test (CELF-5 Screening Test) with Duane for the purpose of comparing his performance to other children that are the same age. It has been noted from previous language samples collected by the referring SLP that Duane frequently uses an African-American dialect.
