Simucase introduces Lunch & Learn series to support simulation-based teaching

Posted April 17, 2026

Simucase has launched a monthly faculty Lunch & Learn series for educators to deepen their use of simulation in the classroom, connect with peers, and get their questions answered in real time.

These free, virtual sessions, held once per month via Zoom, offer bite-sized learning opportunities on specific topics before opening the floor for discussion, questions, and community building.

"These sessions give educators the tools to understand where their learners have gaps, help them meet their learning objectives, and realize how easy it can be to make the Simucase library work for them,” said Certified Healthcare Simulation Educator Wendy Brzozowski, sales manager for Simucase.

"We want to empower faculty to not just select the right content, but to administer it well.”

Each Lunch & Learn opens with a poll and a 10-minute dive into a topic chosen by attendees, ensuring sessions are shaped by what faculty want to learn. This is followed by a look at new Simucase content, including curriculum updates, new videos, and simulations, before transitioning into open questions and discussion tailored to attendees' needs.

The format is intentionally conversational. Rather than a one-way presentation, sessions create room for faculty to share challenges, explore strategies for debriefing simulations, and learn from one another's experiences.

Recordings and curriculum resources from each session will be made available after the event, giving faculty who cannot attend live a way to stay connected and continue learning at their own pace.

Faculty can register for upcoming sessions and access past recordings here.
